5.1 HELM STATIONS

Your yacht has two helm stations: the helm station console on main deck and steering wheel, the flybridge console and drive wheel.
Different controls, instruments and navigation devices the are installed at the two helm stations.
A third helm station is located in the cockpit.

Herewith only general information for first start-up is given: for the practice and the specific use of the individual systems, consult the manuals of the Manufacturers or the RIVA Service Department.

CAUTION

It is a good rule to keep the instruments clean by washing them with wet and clean rugs, avoid using chemical or abrasive products. After navigation, it is advisable to cover instrumentation and equipment.

CAUTION

All electric appliances for navigation, whose parameters can be configured and set by software through the control panel, have been configured and tested upon delivery. These operations must be performed exclusively by authorized service personnel. Any modification of the preset configurations can alter the operation and reliability of the concerned system. Appliances must be used by the personnel in charge of driving the yacht and of using the systems.

CAUTION

HORIZONTAL FIELD OF VIEW – View towards the stern.
Yacht equipped with autopilot. Manoeuvres that require aft visibility should be carried out from the helm station on the Fly Bridge, in accordance with the provisions of the ISO11591 standard.

CAUTION

The main steering position is the one on the Fly Bridge, as visibility is reduced from the upper deck steering position. A special plate applied by the Manufacturer draws attention to it.
