CATEGORY A: This yacht is designed to navigate in conditions where the wind force can be greater than 8 on the Beaufort scale and the significant wave height is greater than 4 m and is largely self-sufficient. Excessive conditions such as hurricanes are excluded.
These conditions may be encountered on long crossings, e.g. interoceanic, or near the coast, exposed to wind and waves for several hundred nautical miles.
